Health Guarantee:
We guarantee the bird will arrive healthy and free of disease, unless noted.
We recommend that you have the bird examined by an avian veterinarian within 2
(two) days to ensure the health of your bird.  If the examination finds any preexisting
illness or disease, the bird can be returned for a refund or replacement if one is
available.
If a period of 2(two) days has passed Avian Angels is no longer
responsible for the health of the bird and no refunds will be made. A letter
from a veterinarian must accompany the return of the bird. All shipping and
vet expenses are the responsibility of the owner.
Our leg band must still be
intact on the bird upon return for any refunds or exchanges to be honored.
We reserve the right to have a second opinion with our veterinarian upon return of the
bird.
If the bird is found deceased please place in a bag in the refrigerator (not freezer)
until an appropriate autopsy and determination of death can be diagnosed by an avian
veterinarian. Paperwork must accompany the bird.

Shipping:
Weather permitting all birds are shipped through Delta Pet First and Continental
Airlines.  If your baby is weaned and ready and the weather conditions are not
acceptable for shipping, we will hold your baby until conditions permit and then place
the baby on the next available flight that is acceptable to you.  We will not ship baby
birds via the postal service; this is not legal.

All the shipping and flight costs have recently gone up by about 40% therefore the cost
for Delta Pet First is now $155.00 up to 19 lbs. Although I have been getting them
shipped a lot less expensive.
Additional charges for shipping crates may apply.

All shipping is at the owner's expense.  When shipping arrangements have been
confirmed an e-mail will be sent to you with flight, and tracking information.

CANARIES ONLY: Weather permitting the canaries are shipped through USPS
EXPRESS, otherwise they are shipped through the airlines also.

The temperature must be below 85 degrees and above 45 degrees before
                                          we will ship USPS.

The U.S. Postal service considers birds to be perishable items and they DO NOT accept
responsibility for the arrival of dead birds unless there is evidence of mishandling. We
do guarantee the arrival of live birds shipped through USPS Express if they arrive
overnight or second day. We
DO NOT guarantee birds delayed in route by USPS
because this is out of our control.

All birds (canaries) must be shipped in a USPS approved box. Additional charges may
apply for boxes.

Normal USPS Express shipping season is September- November and
                                         March-June.

All shipping is at the owner's expense.  When shipping arrangements have been
confirmed an e-mail will be sent to you with flight, and tracking information.
