We know lives change and sometimes these changes do not allow us to give the care to our feathered
friends that they deserve and are used to. Of course they do not understand this. We do not judge people
who need to re home birds. They do require a lot of work and attention.
Here at Avian Angels we love birds of all types. We open our doors to people who can no longer care for
there feathered friends. Some birds become aggressive or awful feather plucker's. We can help you find
new homes for your bird if we are not able to personally keep them here. If we do decide to adopt your
bird you are welcome to come out and visit them here at our ranch. We do accept birds from all over the
US. If you would like to ship your bird to us we will pay the shipping of the bird/s.
With problem birds we will take them in and try to correct the problem and if they recover well enough
we place them in new homes. All homes are carefully screened. If they never reach the point that they
could be trusted with others then they become a permanent resident of Avian Angels.
If you know of a bird in a bad situation that needs rescuing please let us know so the appropriate actions
can be taken to recover the bird.
Small donations to our Adoption and Rescue fund are always welcome. These donations are strictly used
for providing care of the birds whether it be food, vets, toys, cages, etc.
If we have a bird in the Rescue Program that you would like to sponsor please let us know and we can set
that up for you. If there is a bird you would like to adopt from our Adoption Program please write us and
we can see if that bird will fit into your environment.
